Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of StockUpside.io (the "Service"), operated by StockUpside.io ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

StockUpside.io provides aggregated, publicly available analyst price target and consensus data for publicly traded stocks, ranked by potential upside. A free tier provides limited access; a paid "Pro" subscription provides expanded access and additional features.

2. Not Financial Advice

The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on StockUpside.io constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. Analyst price targets and consensus ratings reflect third-party opinions and are not guarantees of future performance. See our Financial Disclaimer for more detail. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions and should consult a licensed financial professional before making any investment.

3. Accounts and Access

Pro access is granted via a secure login link sent to the email address used at signup. You are responsible for keeping access to that email account secure. We are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from a compromised email account.

4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation

Pro subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as selected at signup) via Stripe, our third-party payment processor.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain Pro access until then, and will not be charged again afterward.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact hello@stockupside.io and we will review the request.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice. Price changes will not apply to a billing period that has already been paid for.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems; (b) scrape, reproduce, or redistribute Service data at scale for a competing commercial product; (c) share a Pro account's access link with others; or (d) use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.

6. Data Sources and Accuracy

Stock data is sourced from third parties, including Yahoo Finance (via the yfinance library) and SEC EDGAR, and is refreshed periodically (typically daily). Data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data presented on the Service.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, technical issues, or factors outside our control.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service's design, branding, and original written content are owned by StockUpside.io. Underlying financial data is sourced from third parties as described above and remains subject to those parties' terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StockUpside.io and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to investment losses, arising from your use of the Service or reliance on any information presented on it.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any account that violates these Terms, without prior notice.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
